Agreement

1. I attest and affirm that the material submitted is my sole and original work.
2. I agree to hold the the American Writers Contest, Llumina Press, its agents, employees, partners, successors and assigns harmless from and defend them against all claims, demands, losses, costs, damages, judgments, liabilities and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising out of or in connection with any and all claims of third parties, whether or not groundless, based on any stories submitted to the American Writers Contest or any manuscript, novel play or film developed out of such stories.
3. If I am the winner of the contest I understand that Llumina Press may wish to acquire my manuscript for commercial use. A separate Contract providing for compensation will require future approval and agreement by the parties at that time.
4. I understand that copyright registration is the responsibility of the author.
5. I have read the rules of the American Writing contest and agree to abide by them. I agree to all of the above and am ready to submit my manuscript.
